Turnkey renovation of a Parisian apartment

Un appartement plus fluide et lumineux
Lors d’un RDV Conseils-Diagnostic, l’architecte a constaté que malgré une surface intéressante, l’appartement était particulièrement sombre. De plus, l’aménagement intérieur existant ne proposait pas de véritable cohérence stylistique.
Sur la base de ces constats, les propriétaires nous ont confié une mission de rénovation complète avec pour objectifs principaux d’optimiser la luminosité et la fluidité de l’appartement.
L’architecte d’intérieur a proposé une nouvelle organisation de l’espace en créant une nouvelle entrée et en condamnant l’ancienne qui se trouvait dans la cuisine dinatoire.
Pour réaliser cette modification du plan intérieur, il a fallu réduire la surface de l’une des trois chambres. Dans cette chambre, une verrière a été posée de façon à implanter un couloir traversant permettant de rééquilibrer la circulation au sein de l’appartement.
La luminosité a été optimisée en éclaircissant l’ensemble du parquet et en installant un grand miroir triptyque en face des fenêtres du salon. La multiplication des points lumineux a également permis de structurer les espaces et de fluidifier le parcours à travers l’appartement.
La salle de bain ainsi que la cuisine ont été entièrement rénovées avec des matériaux naturels et des teintes brutes et apaisantes. Le travail de la chaux sur les murs et la présence du chêne, que l’on retrouve dans l’ensemble des pièces, participent à la création d’une atmosphère chaleureuse.
Des luminaires et du mobilier dénichés au BHV
Dans le cadre du partenariat entre le BHV et Créateurs d’intérieur, les éléments de mobilier, de décoration ainsi que les luminaires ont été soigneusement choisis parmi la sélection du magasin. Les choix se sont portés sur des articles proposant un design subtile de façon à rythmer l’appartement et lui apporter davantage de caractère.
Parmi les principaux éléments de décoration, on trouve :
- Cuisine dinatoire : une suspension Multi-lite Gubi et des appliques Rosalie DCW
- Salon : un fauteuil Pumpkin de Pierre Paulin (Ligne roset), un canapé Mags by Hay, une applique dorée Foglio (Flos)
- Chambre parentale : applique Zangra, un banc Panchina (The Socialite Family)
- Couloir : un plafonnier et des appliques Zangra, un miroir Marcello (The Socialite Family)
- Bureau 1 : une table rectangulaire Tiptoe, une lampe Gioia (The Socialite Family), des appliques Hector Bibendum (Original BTC), un store Madura.
- Bureau 2 : des rideaux Madura, un tapis AMPM, un bureau Victor Hartô, une suspension Brera (The Socialite Family)

A more fluid and brighter apartment
During an initial Advice & Diagnostic meeting, the architect observed that despite an interesting surface area, the apartment was particularly dark. In addition, the existing interior layout lacked any real stylistic coherence.
Based on these observations, the owners entrusted us with a complete renovation, with the main objectives of optimising brightness and spatial flow throughout the apartment.
The interior architect proposed a new spatial organisation by creating a new entrance and closing off the former one, which was located in the eat-in kitchen.
To implement this change in the interior layout, the surface area of one of the three bedrooms had to be reduced. In this room, a glass partition was installed to create a through corridor, helping to rebalance circulation within the apartment.
Natural light was enhanced by lightening the entire parquet floor and installing a large triptych mirror opposite the living room windows. The multiplication of light sources also helped to structure the spaces and smooth movement throughout the apartment.
The bathroom and the kitchen were completely renovated using natural materials and raw, soothing tones. The use of lime plaster on the walls and the presence of oak—found throughout all rooms—contribute to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Lighting fixtures and furniture sourced from BHV
As part of the partnership between BHV and Créateurs d’intérieur, the furniture, decorative elements and lighting fixtures were carefully selected from the store’s range. The choices focused on pieces with a subtle design, bringing rhythm and character to the apartment.
Among the main decorative elements:
- Eat-in kitchen: a Multi-Lite Gubi pendant light and Rosalie DCW wall lights
- Living room: a Pumpkin armchair by Pierre Paulin (Ligne Roset), a Mags sofa by Hay, and a Foglio brass wall light (Flos)
- Master bedroom: Zangra wall light, a Panchina bench (The Socialite Family)
- Corridor: a ceiling light and Zangra wall lights, a Marcello mirror (The Socialite Family)
- Office 1: a Tiptoe rectangular table, a Gioia lamp (The Socialite Family), Hector Bibendum wall lights (Original BTC), a Madura blind
- Office 2: Madura curtains, an AMPM rug, a Victor Hartô desk, a Brera pendant light (The Socialite Family)
