À l'intérieur, le charme opère instantanément avec son parquet en point de Hongrie d'origine, véritable hommage au chêne massif, qui couvre l'intégralité des espaces, ses fenêtres généreuses en bois baignant chaque pièce de lumière naturelle, et sa belle hauteur sous plafond, offrant une sensation d'espace et de grandeur.
Les moulures, bien que d'une simplicité étonnante pour un immeuble de cette prestance, témoignent du passage du temps et peut-être même de quelques rénovations antérieures.
Les cheminées, présentes dans presque chaque pièce, ont été conservées avec discernement, leur charme d'antan préservé, tandis que les portes séparant les espaces de vie ont été retirées pour favoriser la fluidité de la circulation.
Un appartement haussmannien spacieux et fonctionnel
Entièrement repensé et rénové, cet appartement haussmannien dévoile désormais un séjour spacieux et lumineux, ouvert sur une élégante salle à manger et une cuisine contemporaine. Optant pour le noyer afin d'harmoniser avec le mobilier déjà présent, chaque détail a été soigneusement pensé, des agencements aux bibliothèques en passant par la cuisine, véritable pièce maîtresse de l'appartement.
Le choix des électroménagers a été méticuleusement étudié, répondant aux exigences d'une passionnée de cuisine, soucieuse du moindre détail.
Malgré l'ampleur des travaux, le chantier s'est déroulé avec une fluidité remarquable, dans une atmosphère propice à la création. En seulement quatre mois, cette transformation spectaculaire a été livrée, le vent de la rénovation soufflant dans la bonne direction.

Respecting the Haussmannian charm
Inside, the charm is immediate with its original herringbone parquet, a true homage to solid oak, covering all spaces, its generous wooden windows flooding each room with natural light, and its impressive ceiling height, providing a sense of space and grandeur.
The moldings, although surprisingly simple for a building of this stature, reflect the passage of time and perhaps some previous renovations.
The fireplaces, present in almost every room, were carefully preserved, maintaining their old-world charm, while the doors separating living spaces were removed to promote fluid circulation.
A spacious and functional Haussmannian apartment
Completely redesigned and renovated, this Haussmannian apartment now features a spacious and bright living room, opening onto an elegant dining area and a contemporary kitchen. The master bedroom, with its adjoining dressing room, is accompanied by a luxurious bathroom with a freestanding bathtub, while the guest bedroom benefits from a dedicated office space, ideal for remote work.
The redesign allowed the creation of new functional areas, such as a guest WC with large entrance closets and a cleverly integrated laundry room, offering maximum storage.
The kitchen, previously off-center, was reorganized to occupy a central place in the apartment, meeting the owners’ wishes.
A warm and welcoming atmosphere offered by wood
The owners wanted a warm and inviting ambiance, where wood plays a predominant role. Choosing walnut to harmonize with the existing furniture, every detail was carefully thought out, from layouts to bookshelves and the kitchen, the true centerpiece of the apartment.
The selection of appliances was meticulously studied, meeting the requirements of a passionate cook, attentive to every detail.
Despite the scale of the work, the project proceeded with remarkable fluidity, in an atmosphere conducive to creation. In just four months, this spectacular transformation was delivered, the renovation wind blowing in the right direction.
