Une vue exceptionnelle
Cet appartement de 100 m² se composait d’une belle pièce de vie, d’une petite cuisine, de deux chambres avec salle de bains et d’un bureau. Baigné de lumière naturelle, l’appartement bénéficie surtout d’un panorama exceptionnel sur les toits de Paris, l'église Saint-Eustache et le Centre Pompidou. Séduits par cette vue, les propriétaires nous ont confié la rénovation de l’appartement, mêlant restructuration des espaces et création de mobilier sur mesure.
Dans le cadre de ce projet d’architecture d’intérieur, il fallait révéler le potentiel des lieux : optimiser sans surcharger, structurer sans cloisonner, magnifier la hauteur et la lumière pour créer un appartement familial et contemporain.
Créer une troisième chambre
L’un des principaux objectifs de la rénovation était d’intégrer une troisième chambre sans altérer les dimensions et la luminosité de la pièce de vie. L’architecte d’intérieur est allé encore plus loin car il a introduit un espace nuit supplémentaire en mezzanine, permettant d’accueillir des invités.
Une bibliothèque monumentale pour structurer l’espace
L’aménagement intérieur s’inspire de l’organisation et la décoration des lofts parisiens, où matières brutes et lignes épurées dialoguent avec l’existant.
Une bibliothèque monumentale sur mesure a été conçue comme un élément structurant du projet. Elle s’articule autour d’un mur porteur et elle enveloppe la structure et dissimule un escalier menant à la mezzanine.
Des montants en acier se prolongent jusqu’au faîtage, accentuant la verticalité du volume cathédrale. L'agencement alterne modules ouverts et fermés, jouant sur la densité et la légèreté à mesure que le regard s’élève.

An exceptional view
This 100 m² apartment consisted of a beautiful living area, a small kitchen, two bedrooms with bathrooms and a study. Bathed in natural light, the apartment above all benefits from an exceptional panorama over the rooftops of Paris, Saint-Eustache church and the Centre Pompidou. Captivated by this view, the owners entrusted us with the renovation of the apartment, combining spatial reconfiguration and the creation of custom-made furniture.
As part of this interior architecture project, the aim was to reveal the full potential of the space: optimize without overloading, structure without partitioning, and enhance the height and natural light to create a contemporary family apartment.
Create a third bedroom
One of the main objectives of the renovation was to integrate a third bedroom without altering the dimensions and brightness of the living area. The interior architect went even further by introducing an additional sleeping space on a mezzanine, allowing guests to be accommodated.
A monumental bookcase to structure the space
The interior design draws inspiration from the organization and decoration of Parisian lofts, where raw materials and clean lines interact with the existing structure.
A monumental custom bookcase was designed as a key structural element of the project. It is organized around a load-bearing wall, enveloping the structure while concealing a staircase leading to the mezzanine.
Steel uprights extend up to the ridge beam, emphasizing the verticality of the cathedral-like volume. The layout alternates open and closed modules, playing with density and lightness as the eye moves upward.
