Nous avons imaginé ce Barbier Shop / Tattoo studio comme un véritable lieu de vie et de partage autour de l'art et de l'artisanat. L'objectif était de concevoir un espace masculin, authentique et de caractère. Pour renforcer cette ambiance, nous avons mis en valeur le mur en pierre d'origine et travaillé avec des matériaux bruts et nobles tels que le bois, le béton et le laiton.
Un bar emblématique en bois brûlé
Le bar est une pièce maîtresse réalisée en bois brûlé selon la technique traditionnelle japonaise du yakisugi (Shou Sugi Ban). Cette finition singulière évoque l'encre du tatoueur et sublime le veinage du bois. Le comptoir, habillé d’une marqueterie de laiton aux motifs géométriques, apporte une touche graphique raffinée.
Un espace barbier structuré et fonctionnel
Le mobilier du barbier est conçu comme un grand ensemble en bois huilé traversé par trois colonnes en béton. Ces colonnes intègrent des lavabos et des bacs de shampoing, offrant une flexibilité optimale pour les prestations.
Une mezzanine dédiée à la création et au tatouage
La mezzanine en structure métallique optimise l’espace et offre un studio dédiée au tatouage, comprenant un espace de création et un autre espace pour les sessions de réalisation.
Mise en scène centrale et mobilier sur mesure
La caisse et le présentoir vertical jouent un rôle central dans l’organisation visuelle du lieu. Le présentoir rétroéclairé, en tôle de 3 mm, met en valeur les produits en vente.
Confort du personnel
Derrière le comptoir, un espace fonctionnel regroupe une cuisine et une salle de repos, garantissant le confort du personnel au quotidien.
Ce projet d'architecture commerciale reflète une recherche d’équilibre entre authenticité, créativité et fonctionnalité, créant un lieu singulier où l'art et l'artisanat cohabitent harmonieusement.
We envisioned this Barber Shop / Tattoo Studio as a true living space dedicated to art, craftsmanship and human connection. The objective was to design a masculine, authentic space with strong character. To reinforce this atmosphere, the original stone wall was highlighted and combined with raw yet noble materials such as wood, concrete and brass.
An iconic burnt wood bar
The bar is a central feature crafted from burnt wood using the traditional Japanese yakisugi (Shou Sugi Ban) technique. This distinctive finish evokes tattoo ink while enhancing the natural grain of the wood. The counter, adorned with brass marquetry featuring geometric patterns, adds a refined graphic touch.
A structured and functional barber area
The barber furniture is designed as a large assembly in oiled wood, intersected by three concrete columns. These columns integrate washbasins and shampoo stations, offering optimal flexibility for services.
A mezzanine dedicated to creation and tattooing
The metal-structure mezzanine optimises the space and accommodates a tattoo studio, comprising a creative area and a separate space for tattoo sessions.
Central staging and bespoke furniture
The checkout counter and vertical display unit play a central role in the visual organisation of the space. The backlit display, made of 3 mm steel sheet, highlights the products available for sale.
Staff comfort
Behind the counter, a functional area includes a kitchen and a break room, ensuring daily comfort for the staff.
This commercial architecture project reflects a search for balance between authenticity, creativity and functionality, creating a distinctive place where art and craftsmanship coexist harmoniously.
